Where it all started
My name is Md Umaer Islam. I'm a Bangladeshi developer and designer who grew up fascinated by visual mechanics and system structures — two lifelong obsessions that converged into a high-impact career on the web.
My journey began in visual arts — mastering Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to architect brand identities, user interfaces, and graphic layouts. That ingrained sense of spatial balance, typography, and contrast continues to guide every production interface I ship.
Expanding into motion design via Premiere Pro and After Effects gave me a deep appreciation for pacing and transitions. Naturally, this led to code: mastering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and later backend systems with PHP and MySQL to launch live web applications.
Today, I engineer scalable web products using TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js. I leverage modern AI tools not as a shortcut, but as a high-leverage superpower to accelerate research, test architecture, and maximize development throughput.
